Biofuels Series: Anaerobic Digestion

The Scottish Biofuel Programme in collaboration with the Environmental Sustainability KTN hope to raise awareness of the potential use of anaerobic digestion as a sustainable energy option and provide delegates with the chance to discuss the challenges and opportunities.
This is the first in a series of workshops that will review the barriers to widespread deployment of the main biofuel technologies i.e. anaerobic digestion (biogas), fermentation (bioethanol), transesterification (biodiesel), algae (biogas) and biochar (biogas).
Event objectives:
The aims of this workshop, funded by the Scottish Biofuel Programme, are to:
• Provide information about the opportunities for AD
• Identify any challenges that need to be addressed
• Provide an excellent networking opportunity
