The Scottish Biofuel Programme is a grant-funded Programme with support from Zero Waste Scotland. Our advice and support is impartial, independent and free of charge to eligible Scottish businesses.

Our Biofuel Development Fund provides grants to fund project work carried out on behalf of eligible businesses to identify, evaluate and develop biofuel opportunities.

The programme is a partnership between Edinburgh Napier University, University of Abertay Dundee, The University of Edinburgh, SAC Consulting (a division of SRUC) and The Scottish Association for Marine Science (SAMS) and is supported by a high-level advisory board that spans the spectrum of stakeholders across the biofuels sector.
